Sometimes I lie in bed at night and review the day. Many times I am content with the outcome, others I cannot wait for the next day. But often I find myself thinking, “How could I have done that differently?” This can be a dangerous question, especially if it is late at night. But I believe it can also be a helpful one. We often look at our mistakes and think what a failure we must be. But truth is, we learn more from our failures than our successes. The key to success is working out our failures. That means we should give ourselves permission to fail. However, permission to fail doesn’t mean you have permission to stay there. The longer you stay wrapped up in your failures, the less successful you will be. Get out of that bed and make a difference in the world. Failure is not the end, it is the beginning of something new.
