Our story began in November 2007 when the Langford and Heetderk Families made a trip to Walt Disney World. It was in this trip that inspiration was born to provide a quality service experience within the local church. Through the research of the history and services provided by The Walt Disney Company a question inspired a movement, “who’s serving those who serve others?” Little did the Langford Family know that others were beginning to ask the same question.

In 2010 and 2011 several families made their move to Orlando not knowing each other but knowing that God had simply put something on their hearts to start. Many of them would meet at Mosaic Community Church and eventually work together in launching Mosaic’s first satellite campus, Mosaic at WDW. The purpose was to provide the Cast Members at WDW a Worship Service at a more convenient time of day. In partnership with CRU at WDW this campus would be the first of its kind.

With the hope of creating more churches and ministries, the Langford’s organized The Gathering INC to broaden those offerings. Church Planters drawn by the same vision came to Orlando to start churches and ministries. The Gathering INC served them as they had need while hosting small groups in homes around Orlando. The result was a multiplication of ministries throughout Central Florida serving those employed at Disney, Universal and Sea World.

It is with great joy that The Gathering INC not only help create these ministry offerings to those in the hospitality and entertainment industry but also provide meaningful opportunities for guests coming to Central Florida to be a blessing to those they encounter through “Love on Stage.”
